A: First you'll need to register a new account in the classifieds. Then you can follow the links to Place an ad.

Q: I'm already registered in the forums / It's not accepting my username and password.

A: The login for the classifieds section is seperate from other parts of the site. You'll need to register a new ID here in the classifieds.

Q: Is placing an ad free?

A: During 2005, posting an ad anywhere in the classifieds can be donefor free. However, you can add extra visibility options for a nominal fee, processed through Paypal. At a later date, there will be a charge for having your boat listed in our classifieds.

Q: What exactly do the paid extra options do for my ad?

A: "Highlight Color" Adds a yellow highlight in the list view. "Featured" - Displays ad on home page. "Visibility" displays ad in bold and/or red in the list view. "Priority Ranking" controls where your ad appears in the list view.

Q: How do I renew my ad?

A: Click on MY ACCOUNT on the right side of your screen. Enter your username and password, then click login. The ads that you currently have will appear. Look for the ad that you wish to renew and click on the [R] to the right of it. This will alow you to renew your ad for the set period (currently 90 days) and add an extra options if you wish. With Free Ad selected, click on Proceed. On the Order Preview screen, click on the box that indicates you agree to the Terms of Use, and then click on Next. Your ad has been renewed!
